Dannii Minogue announces pregnancy on Twitter!

One of the top headlines today, Dannii Minogue X Factor judge and younger sister of Kylie Minogue has announced quite publicly on Twitter that she is pregnant and looks set to be a mum with her first child.

The actual announcement on Twitter was “Woo hoo I’m gonna be a mummy!” by Dannii Minogue who is 38

A spokesperson has also confirmed that “Dannii and Kris are very excited and can’t wait to start their family in 2010.” The baby is due in July. The father is Kris Smith a former Rugby League Player.

12 week scans confirmed the pregnancy and she didn’t want to issue any news until those scans were conclusive. The baby looks set to be due in July.

This brings us onto potential headline No2. As X Factor normally starts at around about August and it’s looking very unlikely Dannii will be able to judge on the show, who will be taking her place and will it be for one season or permanently?
