Beyonce and Jay Z highest earning couple in entertainment!

The power of hip hop and its current power trend in the music world has shown its power in the wealth stakes with the latest numbers in the Forbes Celebrity Couples Top Earners and the top 5 makes very interesting reading.

The numbers were compiled for the period June 2008 – June 2009 and the top earning couple by far were Beyonce and Jay Z on a massive £68 Million. The main earners normally come from the Hollywood Movie sphere but they came nowhere near during this period.

Second top earners were Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart some £26 Million behind on a more reasonable £42 Million. The surprise is Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt during this time frame only made it into third place with a modest £33 Million and even then only just scraped ahead of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith who were snapping at their heels earning £29 Million in fourth.

The UK not to be outdone managed to deliver the goods and scrape into the Top 5 with Victoria Beckham and David Beckham aka Posh and Becks bringing the sport and fashion mix into the fray and managed to rustle up earnings of £28 Million. Just do not mention the tax bill to any of these couples!
