Some celebrities also have their own official websites that are either independent or are part of a larger celebrity site. Top names always in the headlines on a daily basis include Kate Moss, Angelina Jolie, Victoria Beckham, Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian.
Other big name stars may generate 1000’s of headlines over weeks or months when they are in the headlines for a film, music, fashion and then fade away when the event, release or tour or other headline has passed.

News from the tabloid style newspapers, sometimes very accurate and way ahead of the quality newspapers, sometimes they are a bit too quick off the mark and manage to get the story completely wrong. Either way the tabloid news on celebrities makes an exciting and entertaining read, normally more gossip and rumours than actual news but still worth a look.
In the UK the tabloid papers would be The Sun, The Daily Mirror and the Sunday Version The News of the World. In the US “The Globe” and “The National Enquirer” are the weekly supermarket checkout equivalents.

Twitter mania is spreading, its the new social networking platform that seems to be set to overtake the likes of FaceBook and MySpace, 140 characters make a tweet, the celebrities are getting on this pretty sharpish, the media are following close behind and of course the world at large are all diving in tweeting like maniacs.
Twitter does have a real celebrity following and also a fake one, question is which are featured on Twitter and more to the point which are the real celebrities at Twitter. Just finding http://www.twitter.com/angelinajolie is not enough to confirm that you have in fact found the twitterings or tweets of the actress Angelina Jolie, it could be somebody using the name and pretending to be her.
Paparazzi receive much bad press, but a lot of photos that appear in quality national papers feature paparazzi shots from the better sources and a lot of the stories also come from the same sources. Paparazzi due to their nature of work are often the first to notice any news headlines and are able to confirm rumours visually but not very often verbally as celebrities in general refuse to talk to paparazzi and generally despise them although some celebrities are very approachable. Depends on the celebrity!
Paparazzi footage normally includes more everyday things such as leaving a hotel, going shopping, going to a nightclub or restaurant, attending an event, visiting friends, all mundane everyday things but these sightings often lead to some very credible news stories.
Other big name stars may generate 1000’s of headlines over weeks or months when they are in the headlines for a film, music, fashion and then fade away when the event, release or tour or other headline has passed.
