In what looks to be a massively growing trend in secret weddings, Alicia Keys and Swiss Beatz decided to tie the knot at a very simple secret ceremony on the mediterranean to seal the deal with an already pregnant Alicia to make an honest woman of her. Photo below of Alicia not take at the wedding!

Alicia wore a Vera Wang gown and the couples friend Dr Deepak Chopra presided over the event. They have been together since Autumn 2008 and announced the baby in May this year.

Diana Vickers has many qualities, but shy is not one of them. She was spotted in Camden Town, London after her doing a double in the form of performing live at the iTunes festival and also trying to have some sort of 19th birthday bash walking around with a home made placard saying “Happy Birthday Diana”. Her actual birthday is on Friday 30th July, these were obviously pre bash warm ups?
Jul 28 2010. Diana Vickers celebrates her Birthday with an early night after performing at The Roundhouse in Camden as part of the iTunes weekly festival.Diana came out with a massive birthday card and a smaller one that looks like it is from Olly Muirs from the X-Factor with phone number included.
Latest DV rumours include she would consider going nude for the right film and actor and director according to Metro. Could be interesting..form an orderly queue. It looks like Cheryl Cole (Tweedy) is finally on the mend after nearly a month off with the killer disease malaria and it looks like she is up and about as she was spotted near Guildford in Surrey heading into Starbucks in jeans , flip flops and a white top to get herself a chilled Frappucino.. This is billed as the first time she has been seen outside of her £6M mansion since she picked up the disease.

She was rumoured to be appearing back in the judges chair at X Factor this Friday but according to The Sun her spokesperson said:
She will not be going to work for the next few weeks but everyone is pleased she’s up and about”
Onlookers who saw her said she looks a bit pale and drawn and a bit skinny but in good spirits. This disease does knock you down big time but she now looks to be on the mend!

More news of the older variety it looks like Derek Hough (the dancer on Parachute) is rumoured to be moving in with Cheryl in her mansion on a temporary basis as he is looking to get a place in London as he may have some work there. Difficult to fathom what is going on with these two, friends, soul mates or more but he’s seen her through two sets of difficult times including the previous divorce saga so he must be practically family in a very short period of time in the Cheryl scheme of things.

Elisabetta Canalis who is the now quite long running girlfriend of George Clooney looks to be in a bit of media hot water with a court appearance pending which is causing a media storm across all news media.

Its quite an interesting one this as the key to the whole media rumpus is the timing and not the subject matter. Basically Elisabetta Canalis is under investigation. Here’s the first part of the story according to The Sun:
“GEORGE CLOONEY’S girlfriend has been accused of snorting cocaine in an Italian nightclub.
French model Karima Menad told a Milan court in 2008 she took the narcotic with ELISABETTA CANALIS at the fashion capital’s The Club venue.”

Now this obviously doesn’t make good reading no matter who it is but especially if you are George Clooney’s girlfriend of a year it’s even worse. George Clooney is strongly rumoured to be working up to a proposal to Elisabetta and these headlines are increasing lately.
What we don’t understand is why has this incident that goes back to 2008 suddenly surfaced NOW when things are looking on the possible marriage home straight for this couple. There’s some money being made somewhere at the expense of somebody’s reputation here. Doubt very much that this will affect the Clooney-Canalis relationship, maybe it’s a secret she has shared with Clooney on the quiet and not with the world at large. It could even be said would this case even have come to light IF she hadn’t got involved with George Clooney.
With the increasing possibility of one of the biggest weddings of the year taking place expect to see more of this searching for skeletons in cupboards in the near future.

Angelina Jolie the ever mysterious Hollywood star has finally arrived on twitter. Her twitter page is strangely enough called angelinajolie but this name was not available initially. Photo below of Angelina on her never ending promo run of “Salt” in Seoul!

Angie is not one for settling for second best and as angelinajolie at twitter was taken by somebody else she decided this was the name she wanted for her name on this social networking site and has waited patiently for the name to come free? so it can be taken by it’s rightful owner. The other story goes something like her officials decided to get the account suspended by twitter so that Jolie could get her presence on there with her proper name. Decide which story fits the bill!
By all accounts this account will not be going live until later this year and has the following message:
This person has protected their tweets.
Yes it’s one of those private one’s. She currently has 0 Following and 0 followers but 30 Listed and we probably reckon “and counting”. What this account will be used for remains to be seen, maybe to increase her charity work profile, have a blast at Jennifer Aniston or maybe even communicate with other celebrities OR EVEN her fans, but it’s worth keeping an eye on regardless.
